Staying at Kona Bayview Inn felt like being in paradise. Thomas and Sharon were amazing hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every morning brought a delicious breakfast filled with fresh local fruits and homemade treats, a highlight that fueled our daily adventures. The garden and ocean views were stunning, especially during sunset. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely decor. However, the lack of air conditioning made for warmer afternoons, though the evenings cooled down nicely. If you plan to explore, having a car is a must, as the location is a bit secluded from tourist spots but truly serene. The outdoor dining utensils could use a little more attention. they had some dust. Overall, this B&B offers a charming retreat with personalized touches. Though the indoor comfort could improve, the breathtaking views and excellent breakfast make it worthwhile.

spectacular ocean views, lush garden ambiance, thoughtful Hawaiian decor
Rooms lacking air conditioning can make daytime uncomfortable!!! Dust on outdoor dining utensils needs addressing!!! Open verandah cleanliness should be improved to enhance guest experience!!!

I stayed in the Double Room with Private Bathroom for 5 nights. The bed was super comfy, and the decor had a nice Hawaiian touch. Enjoying coffee on the lanai each morning while soaking in the breathtaking views was a highlight. Only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made afternoons a bit warm. But overall, it was a cozy spot to relax after exploring Captain Cook.

We had an amazing stay with delicious breakfasts featuring fresh local fruit and homemade goodies every morning! The sun loungers and garden area offered perfect spots for relaxation after our adventures. One small downside was that the wifi could be a bit spotty at times, but that didn't ruin our great experience. Definitely take some time to enjoy the sunsets! 🌅

Our group had a fantastic stay! The hosts were so helpful and full of local tips. We snorkeled nearby and loved the beautiful views. Breakfast was hearty, featuring fresh local produce. The sunsets on the Lanai were unforgettable! Don't miss the Kona Joe Coffee Farm and snorkelling spots in the area.
One minor concern was that the outdoor seating area could use a bit more attention for cleanliness.

Couple retreat, peaceful paradise
Staying here was like being a part of a family. Each breakfast felt special, with fresh local fruit piled high, and I remember one morning enjoying warm quiches on the lanai while watching the mango trees sway in the breeze. The hosts, Sharon and Thomas, were so cute.
It was certainly on the pricey side, but honestly, it was worth every penny.
